What we do

EASA promotes responsible advertising in commercial communications by means of effective self-regulation, while being mindful of national differences in culture, as well as legal and commercial practice.

History

EASA is a non-profit organisation based in Brussels which was founded in 1992 to facilitate advertising standards across a growing Single Market.

Governance

EASA structure and management.

Secretariat

The dedicated team that makes up the EASA Secretariat is based in Brussels.

Members

EASA members consist of both national self-regulatory organisations and, since 2001, also industry associations. Both are represented throughout EASA's structure on a co-equal basis.

Charter

EASA's Charter commits the advertising industry to increased moral and financial support for self-regulatory systems across Europe.
