The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) has published its revised 10th Edition Advertising and Marketing Communications Code for 2018.

The European Advertising Standards Alliance (EASA) was involved in drafting the new Code as part of the Code Revision Task Force. To formulate EASA's position for this process, it consulted its members which are the practitioners in charge of applying the principles of the code at national level across Europe.

Commenting on the new revised code, Lucas Boudet, Director General of EASA, said: "The principles laid out in the ICC Marketing Code are the cornerstone of the national codes of practice enforced by EASA's network, ensuring responsible advertising in Europe."
